The werewolf boss made one last-ditch attempt on Jaeger, and found himself rewarded with a knee in his werewolf 'pride'. Jaeger brushed his hands off on his pants as the monster dropped to the ground, half-conscious and in a universe of pain. Approaching Nanashi, Jaeger felt the Locust's speed wane from his body, the chitin chipping and cracking, then flaking from his skin.
"Yeah I guess we should go let the farmer know his livestock should be just fine. But, uh, listen...I hope this question isn't too forward, but what the hell -are- you, exactly? You're not a beast man, or a werewolf, or any sort of monster I've seen. Not with magic like that. Is that jackal head just some kind of mask? Maybe you've been cursed by an evil wizard?" |
