[attr="class","staffpost"]Here is where all of the canon positions are listed and kept track of. If you want to reserve a canon, post here with your OOC name and the position that you desire. Canon reservations last five days; you must have at least your character and your magic up by the end of the fifth day. If you don't, you will lose the position. Also, everyone with a canon position is expected to be active with that character; there is no exact limit on how much a canon position is required to post, but we'll be keeping an eye on posting habits, what a canon position is actually doing in order to build plot and overall demand for canon positions. If someone with a canon falls inactive, then they will be stripped of their position, and it'll be open for someone else to take. If you've had your canon position stripped, you are unable to reserve another canon position for seven days. A member is allowed to have only ONE canon position at a time.

Slaying magic is a type of Lost Magic designed to kill a particular entity. Dragon Slayer Magic is meant to slay dragons; God Slayer Magic is meant to slay gods, while Devil Slayer Magic is meant to slay demons. No Slayer magic has an advantage of another, and there’s no difference between first-generation, second-generation and third-generation slayers mechanics-wise. Dragon Slayers can either be taught by a dragon, implanted with a lacrima or have both; they also tend to have animalistic qualities (sharp teeth, claws, narrow pupils, etc). God Slayers are typically self-taught from reading magical tomes and lexicons; God Slayer magic is colored black. Devil Slayers are cursed from either a demon or another Devil Slayer and are usually marked by some kind of tattoo on their body. Devil Slayer magic is colored purple.
SLAYER PERKS. Dragon Slayers have enhanced senses and are able to see, hear and smell more acutely than the average mage. God Slayers are granted the ability to actively sense magical energy and presences due to their “god-like” physiology. Devil Slayers are able to determine everything about a demon or devil-like creature just by observing them for a moment; they are also slightly immune to curses. Slayers are known as physical brutes, mixing elemental magic with pure physical combat. Unlike typical elemental mages, they do not produce or manipulate external sources of their element; instead, it originates from their body and then cast outward. Slayers are able to consume their respective element as well as spells of their element equal to their class; whenever they do this, the Slayer gains back 1 MP. However, they can only consume their element, whether it's an external source or a spell, once every THREE posts. In the instance of Sky Slayers, they are only able to consume air that's free of pollutants and contaminants. For Sound Slayers, they can only consume loud noises such as a crowd of people cheering or the boom of an explosion. Light Slayers need a source of intense light like the sun if they want to feed upon their element; Shadow Slayers require a place or an area filled with COMPLETE darkness in order to feed (they can't eat a person's shadow, for example).
FORCE ABILITIES. Dragon/God/Devil Force is a powerful ability available to Slayers when they reach A-Class. This ability increases the Slayer’s physical capabilities and their spells by one rank. Dragon Force surrounds the Dragon Slayer in a massive elemental aura that manifests into the dragon of the element, no matter what generation they are. The Dragon Slayer also becomes more draconic in appearance such as scales covering their body. For God Force, the God Slayer’s elemental aura instead manifests into the “god” of their element, and their entire body takes on characteristics of the god or goddess themselves. Devil Force causes a Devil Slayer’s tattoo to spread all over their body; they also become more demonic in appearance, and their eyes begin to glow a foreboding purple. Force abilities last for five posts; afterwards, the Slayer becomes almost completely drained of magical energy. As such, Force abilities are used in desperate, do-or-die situations.
DUAL ELEMENT MODES. Dual Element Modes (ex. Fire-Lightning Dragon Mode, Iron-Shadow Dragon Mode) are attainable by all three types of Slayers. To qualify for a Dual Element Mode, you must be at least A-Class. Also, by obtaining a Dual Element Mode, you forfeit your secondary and tertiary magic slots. To actually gain access to a Dual Element Mode, you must first consume the element that you want to be your second element while under magical exhaustion and in a state of CLEAR desperation. It should be something that’s done in a life-or-death sort of situation; if staff feels that the trigger is not genuine enough, we have every right to deny you your Dual Element Mode. However, if the trigger is approved, you will gain your Dual Element Mode. The trigger can also be unlocked through a staff-moderated quest; if you want to take this path, PM Imuit.
Dual Element Modes differ from the canon in that they can be used at will after the first activation; you don't have to consume the second element again in order to enter Dual Element Mode. However, you are unable to consume your “secondary” element, and you're only able to use your secondary slayer element separately while under the effects of your Dual Element Mode. For example, if you are a Fire Dragon Slayer and your dual mode is Fire-Lightning, you'll be able to use Fire, Fire-Lightning and Lightning Dragon Slayer magic while you're in your dual element mode; however, you wouldn't be able to use Fire-Lightning and Lightning Dragon Slayer magic outside of it. Also, in this same case, you wouldn't be able to eat natural electricity or lightning spells either. Using a Dual Element Mode does not grant any bonuses besides letting you use the two Slayer magics in conjunction with one another. Existing abilities can simply be flavored to be dual element but only when you're in Dual Element Mode. However, to use your second element separately in Dual Element Mode, you WILL have to buy abilities for that; they'll cost as much as any other secondary ability. Dual Element Modes CAN be used in conjunction with Force abilities.

As the main ruling body of the entire Magic world, the Council possesses almost utmost control over it, acting as a leading government of sort. The Council rules all of the legal Guilds scattered throughout Earth Land, overseeing them and keeping them in check, and they are responsible for the events caused by Mages, also possessing the right to punish Mages who break the law and to confiscate magical artifacts which could potentially cause large-scale damage. The Council has the right to apprehend Mages charged with crimes anytime, with their messengers being highly respected.
